Pallavi Sinha

As a part of NAF, she has implemented the Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) program under the campaign “Swachh Betiyan Swachh Samaj”. In July 2017, she started the first sanitary pad bank in Bihar and runs several pad banks for underprivileged women and girls throughout the state. She raises awareness about MHM through counseling sessions and PPT module programs at government and non-government institutes. In addition to this, she has installed sanitary pad vending machines at important locations like Patna Airport, Railway Station, Petrol Pump, and Educational Institutions, and regularly monitors and maintains them.

Besides the MHM program, Pallavi Sinha has also undertaken several other initiatives for the betterment of society. She runs a Basic Literacy Program for women and children and organizes Plant Marathons and Wellness Camps (Eye checkups & cataract operations) for the poor and needy. In 2018, she started the Hunger Project “Sai ki Rasoi” through which a complete nutritious meal is served to the needy patients and their attendants at Patna Medical College Hospital for just Rs. 5/- only. The nominal charge is made to maintain the self-respect of the individuals.

Pallavi Sinha is also an experienced entrepreneur with almost 8 years of experience in handling the production operations of a surgical cotton manufacturing facility. She is well-versed in handling human resources, liasoning with government and quasi-government agencies, and has extensive experience in marketing and managing a play school for 10 years. This has given her expertise in framing education policies and pre-primary education, as well as in directing institute operations.

For her sincere services to society, Pallavi Sinha has been recognized with several awards such as Sashakt Nari Samman by Cinema Entertainment 2018, Bihar Ratna Samman by Helping Human 2019, Antarashtriya Yuva Samman Pragatiman 2017, Nari Shakti Samman by Mahila Sangh Bihar 2019, Sammar Patra by Radio Pitara for Women Empowerment 2018, Award by Rashtriya Kustha Unmoolan program Bihar 2020, and the Times Extraordinaire Award in 2020.
