Nav Astitwa Foundation (NAF), as a responsible NGO, believes that hunger is a critical issue affecting many people in society and It is a root cause of many other problems, including poverty, malnutrition, and poor health. We should work on a Hunger Project because it is our responsibility to address the basic needs of the community and ensure that everyone has access to adequate nutrition. The Hunger Project is initiated with the aim to provide a nutritious meal to needy patients and their attendants at Patna Medical College Hospital. NAF is contributing to the well-being and survival of the people in need, and ultimately creating a better, healthier and more equitable world for everyone.
NAF works on the Hunger Project to address the issue of malnutrition and hunger, especially among underprivileged sections of society. As part of the project, NAF provides a complete nutritious meal to the needy patients and their attendants at Patna Medical College Hospital at a nominal charge of just Rs 5/-. The aim of this project is not only to provide a meal but also to maintain the self-respect of the individual. The Hunger Project by NAF is named as "Sai ki Rasoi" and was started in 2018. By implementing this project, NAF is working towards ensuring food security and improving the health and nutrition of those who are in need.
NAF is doing an excellent job in improving the lives of people in Bihar. Their programs on health and hygiene, women empowerment, education, and hunger relief have made a significant impact in the communities they serve.
NAF's initiatives on menstrual hygiene management are commendable. Their work in spreading awareness and providing access to sanitary products has helped young girls and women lead a healthier and more dignified life.
NAF has taken a comprehensive approach to addressing menstrual health and hygiene, recognizing that it is not just a health issue but also a social and cultural one. Their work has led to greater awareness and acceptance of menstrual health as a normal part of life.
As someone who has worked with NAF on their health and hygiene programs, I can say firsthand that they are committed to creating sustainable change in communities. Their dedication and hard work have made a real difference.
