NAF recognizes the importance of collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve its mission of empowering communities, especially women, in areas of health, hygiene, education, and livelihood. Collaborative facilitation by an NGO involves working with different partners, such as government institutions, local organizations, and communities, to jointly address issues and create sustainable solutions. By utilizing the strengths and resources of all partners, NAF can maximize the impact of its interventions and ensure the sustainability of its programs. Working on collaborative facilitation enables NAF to leverage the knowledge, expertise, and resources of its partners to address complex problems in a comprehensive and effective manner. NAF's collaborative approach encourages the participation and empowerment of communities, as they play a key role in identifying their own needs and working towards addressing them. Additionally, NAF's collaborative facilitation helps to build trust and credibility with stakeholders, as well as strengthens the relationships between NAF and its partners. This ultimately leads to a more successful and sustainable program, as all partners are working towards a common goal and are invested in its outcome.
Under the program of Collaborative Facilitation, NAF has been actively involved in various initiatives in partnership with key government departments and organizations such as UNICEF, Jeevika, Health, Education, Social Welfare, and ICDS. The organization has initiated Master Training Programs to provide skill-based training to women in rural areas and to empower them. NAF has also organized an MHM awareness campaign in 38 model schools in 38 districts of Bihar, in collaboration with UNICEF and BEPC under the program "Mukhymantri Kishori Swasthya Yojna".
NAF has also been involved in organizing various awareness programs and initiatives aimed at improving the health and hygiene of women in the community. In collaboration with the DMI, NAF organized an MHM awareness program in the Bhitharwa block of Champaran district. In partnership with the airport authority of India, NAF organized an MHM awareness program in all slums of Patna. The organization also distributed free rations to 25 thousand households in collaboration with Dainik Bhaskar. Through these initiatives, NAF aims to bring about a positive change in the lives of women and to empower them by providing access to essential resources and services.
NAF, in its quest for sustainable development and impactful change, not only collaborates with big organizations like UNICEF, Jeevika, Health, Education, Social Welfare, and ICDS, but also with small and medium enterprises (SMEs), individuals, and other organizations whose purposes align with NAF's programs. NAF's approach to collaborative facilitation is comprehensive and inclusive, and it strives to bring all stakeholders together to achieve its mission and vision. The foundation recognizes the importance of building partnerships and working together with others to achieve its goals, and this is evident in its commitment to working with various organizations, businesses, and individuals to drive positive change in communities.
NAF is doing an excellent job in improving the lives of people in Bihar. Their programs on health and hygiene, women empowerment, education, and hunger relief have made a significant impact in the communities they serve.
NAF's initiatives on menstrual hygiene management are commendable. Their work in spreading awareness and providing access to sanitary products has helped young girls and women lead a healthier and more dignified life.
NAF has taken a comprehensive approach to addressing menstrual health and hygiene, recognizing that it is not just a health issue but also a social and cultural one. Their work has led to greater awareness and acceptance of menstrual health as a normal part of life.
As someone who has worked with NAF on their health and hygiene programs, I can say firsthand that they are committed to creating sustainable change in communities. Their dedication and hard work have made a real difference.
