Amrita Singh

As a part of NAF, Amrita is dedicated to promoting menstrual hygiene management (MHM) programs, such as "Swachh Betiyan Swachh Samaj," and established the first Sanitary Pad Bank in Bihar in 2017. This has expanded to multiple districts, providing subsidized sanitary pads to a large group of women and girls in need. Amrita also conducts awareness-raising sessions on menstruation and is responsible for installing, monitoring, and maintaining sanitary vending machines in various locations.

Aside from her work in the social sector, Amrita is also a seasoned businesswoman with over 10 years of experience in women's garment manufacturing, human resources, and SME operations. She is also an experienced educationist, having served as the principal of a play school for 10 years.

Amrita's contributions to society have been recognized with several awards, including the Aprajita Samman by Prabhat Khabar, Sashakt Nari Samman by Cinema Entertainment 2018, Bihar Ratna Samman by Helping Human 2019, Antarashtriya Yuva Samman Pragatiman 2017, Nari Shakti Samman by Mahila Sangh Bihar 2019, Sammar Patra by Radio Pitara for women Empowerment 2018, Award by Rashtriya Kustha Unmoolan Programme Bihar 2020 and Times Extraordinaire Award in 2020.

Her efforts to improve the lives of those around her, through various programs and initiatives, have made a tangible impact on her community and serve as an inspiration to others.
